It was in a great location with South Bank Parklands nearby.

Heated pool onsite, absolutely fantastic room with GREAT views and free table tennis and chilled bottle.

The hotel was ideal, tastefully decorated and well-appointed room. It was easy to get Wheelchair Accessible room with great views and chilled bottle of “ bubbly ” in ice bucket, as example and that's great. Patient and caring property staff from reservation to check in. The location was comfortable - ease of access to Queen Street Mall. The food they offered was outstanding, had variety of meals.

Well, no elevator.

Everything was very good, the staff were exceptionally courteous and the location was excellent! Location: the hotel was next to Southbank, the CBD or the stadium & Caxton Street, both the city centre and the river which are both short walks away and the river, mall, Roma St railway station. The breakfast was excellent quality and the best, the check in was early.

Marvellous location, impressive a double room with the AC as well as great view. Breakfast with an egg station and freshly baked warm pastries.

The location was perfect, right in the heart of the city center, and I had a stunning view of the Brisbane River from my room. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. From the moment I arrived, the airport transfer service was a lifesaver, taking care of all my baggage. The front reception staff were always there to assist, and the housekeeping staff kept my room clean and well-prepared. The hotel offered a wide range of amenities, including room service, car hire, and dry cleaning, making my stay even more convenient. The free Wi-Fi in the rooms was a great added bonus.

Families looking for a hotel with excellent service and a beautiful view should definitely consider this place.

Good access to shopping and sporting grounds also transport

The pool was enjoyable, and it was convenient to have Wi-Fi. The hotel was also within a 15-minute walk of the gallery of modern art.

The Mercure is located perfectly, right across the river from South Bank, which was a lovely walk across the bridge. It's also within walking distance from the city, so we were able to walk into the city with ease... We went out for dinner and took a taxi because it was raining, but because of the perfect location we didn't pay much on the fares because we were so close to everything.

We loved our stay at this hotel. Everything was perfect! We enjoyed the comfortable beds and great TV. The hotel facilities were clean and exactly as stated on the website. The staff were amazing and friendly, arranging our room early for us without any trouble. Also, the location was perfect; we were close to everything we needed in the city centre. Breakfast was fantastic value and we had a wonderful time in the pool with our granddaughter.

I thought the staff were very friendly and efficient and the location is ideal for someone who wants to be close to restaurants and shopping. The view over the Brisbane river is certainly world class and the tariff is affordable for a quality hotel. Overall I felt very comfortable and relaxed during my stay and I will certainly be looking to stay at the Mercure on my next trip to Brisbane.

Two minor points:- I burnt my hand on the kettle when lifting it after it boiled. The design is poor in that there is a steam escape near the handle. I found the maximum volume level on the TV too low although my hearing isn't the best, but it may need to be raised a notch or two.

I had a great stay at this hotel. The location was fantastic, right in the heart of the city with a stunning view of the river. The staff were friendly and attentive, providing excellent service throughout my stay. The rooms were comfortable, with a cozy bed and basic amenities. The breakfast included in our rate was a delightful surprise, with a wide range of food options to suit all tastes.

All in all, my experience at this hotel was satisfactory.
